Job Summary: The Filtration New Product Sales Specialist ensures that the Setpoint Team is in the position to provide the appropriate filtration solution to the market. Customers may require a new filter unit, a replacement filter cartridge, or a filtration rental vessel depending on whether a permanent or temporary solution is required.

The ideal candidate has a broad and in-depth knowledge of air, water, and oil filtration. The Filtration New Product Sales Specialist will perform the role of a subject matter expert providing consulting to our teams at all Setpoint branches.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities provide solid recommendations to the market on the right filter, replacement cartridge or rental vessel solution to meet the customers technical requirement. Understand broadly market pricing for filtration solutions thereby enabling Setpoint to be competitive in the market while maximizing profitability. Provide coaching to the replacement cartridge distribution specialist. Provide direct line communication to our filtration and dehydration unit technician ensuring that our rental fleet is always in rentable condition. Maintain supplier OEM relationships enabling Setpoint to obtain market competitive pricing on filtration units and replacement cartridges Partner with our account managers to grow our market share and increase our rental fleet utilization.

Positional Requirements & Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor degree preferred or a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience A minimum of 5 years of experience with filtration equipment and replacement cartridges

Skills & Abilities Advanced knowledge of filtration and cartridge replacement equipment manufacturers and capabilities. Ability to provide coaching to many constituents enabling those with limited experience to successfully work with potential clients. Strong presence in front of customers Good negotiating skills with customers and suppliers. Ability to work within ERP system Command of Microsoft software Intermediate presentation skills Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance with Setpoint IS driving guidelines Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening.

Essential Physical Functions: Travel less than 5% Lifting up to 50 pounds Bending, stooping, walking and/or ability to stand for up to 75% of shift.
